Does it taste like beef?
No. Tallow is a clean, neutral frying fat at temperature. What you notice is a firmer crunch and a cleaner finish, not a greasy film on the roof of your mouth.
Is the whole product certified organic?
The potatoes are certified organic and CIPC-free. The tallow is not certified, and that is deliberate. We buy on 100% grass-fed and US raised instead, which is the thing that actually matters in a frying fat.
Can I choose my flavors?
Not on this page. New customers do best starting on Original, so that is the entry box. The variety bundles come pre-mixed with all four flavors, so you get the full range without having to guess which one you will like.
How fast does it ship, and will it arrive in pieces?
Ships in 3 business days. Bags are nitrogen packed, which keeps the chips whole in transit and gives a 120 day shelf life. The variety boxes ship free to the lower 48, and every subscription ships free.
