When it comes to holiday hosting, you can't beat a recipe that is quick, crowd-pleasing, and completely hands-off. These Baked Ham and Cheese Sliders are the ultimate easy meal for Memorial Day, game days, or a busy weeknight. Sliced ham and a double layer of cheddar and provolone are tucked inside soft rolls, then brushed with a rich, savory garlic butter topping. They bake up in just 15 minutes into a warm, melty masterpiece that pairs beautifully with the smoky, sweet crunch of Vandy Smokehouse BBQ Crisps for an effortless spread.
Ingredients
For the sliders
-
1 package sliders/rolls (such as Hawaiian rolls)
-
1 package sliced ham
-
6 slices cheddar cheese
-
6 slices Provolone cheese
-
BBQ Sauce, for serving (optional)
For the garlic butter
-
3 tbsp butter, melted
-
1 tsp garlic powder
-
½ tsp onion powder
-
1 tsp dried parsley
-
1 bag Vandy Crisps Smokehouse BBQ, for serving
Directions
Preheat your oven to 350°F and lightly grease a baking dish or line a sheet pan with parchment paper.
Use a large serrated knife to slice the entire block of rolls in half horizontally. Place the bottom half on your baking sheet. Layer the sliced ham evenly across the bread, followed by the slices of cheddar and provolone cheese. Place the top section of the rolls back on.
In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, garlic powder, onion powder, and parsley.
Brush the garlic butter mixture generously over the tops of the rolls, ensuring it gets into all the nooks and crannies. Bake for about 15 minutes until the tops are golden brown and the cheese inside is completely melted and bubbly.
Cut into individual sliders and serve warm. Round out the platter with a big pile of smoky Vandy Crisps Smokehouse BBQ, fresh seasonal fruit, and extra BBQ sauce for dipping.
Recipe Note
The secret to a great party platter is balancing a warm, savory main dish with an incredibly satisfying crunch. Serving these rich, buttery sliders alongside Vandy Smokehouse BBQ creates a fantastic contrast of textures. The smoky, sweet crunch of the chips elevates the simple ham and cheese flavor profile, making your Memorial Day food prep feel entirely effortless.
