-
2 tbsp olive oil

2 tbsp salted butter
-
4 cups diced onions
-
1 tbsp garlic powder
-
½ tsp salt
-
¼ tsp pepper
-
24 oz organic beef broth
-
2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
-
8 slices Gruyère cheese
-
¼ cup grated Parmesan

Vandy Crisps French Onion, for topping and on the side
Directions
In a large pot, heat olive oil and butter over medium heat until melted.
Add onions and cook 25–30 minutes, stirring often, until caramelized and golden.
Stir in garlic powder, salt, and pepper. If using flour, add it now and cook 1–2 minutes to thicken.
Pour in beef broth and Worcestershire sauce; simmer 10–15 minutes to let the flavors deepen.
Divide the soup into 4–6 oven-safe ramekins. Top each with Gruyère and Parmesan cheese.
Broil for 2–3 minutes until bubbly and golden on top.
Finish with a handful of Vandy French Onion for that perfect, crunchy finish.
