Crispy, golden, and full of flavor, these Vandy Crisp–crusted cod bites put a fresh spin on classic fish and chips. Coated in our signature tallow-fried potato chips and cooked in the air fryer, they’re light, crunchy, and perfect with tartar sauce, lemon wedges, and extra Vandy Crisps on the side.

Ingredients
-
2 cups Vandy Crisps Original
-
1 lb wild-caught cod
-
1 egg
-
Organic flour (to coat)
-
Salt and pepper, to taste
-
Homemade tartar sauce
-
Lemon wedges, for serving
Directions
Crush the chips. Add Vandy Crisps to a food processor and pulse into fine crumbs. Transfer to a shallow dish.
Whisk the egg in one shallow dish. Add flour to another, seasoning with salt and pepper.
Prep the cod. Pat dry and cut the cod into strips or bite-sized pieces.
Coat each piece of fish in flour, dip in the egg wash, then press into the crushed chips until fully coated.
Arrange cod in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook at 400°F for 10–15 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through (internal temp should reach 145°F).
Plate with lemon wedges, tartar sauce, and extra Vandy Crisps on the side and serve!
